Carmel Elopement of Athena and Chase

Athena and Chase have known each other since middle school!!! How cute is that?! Life long best friends turned soul mates. From messaging on Myspace to actually getting courage to love each other later in life their story is SO similar to my husband and mine ( my husband likes to say we met on facebook). Like the two adventure takers they are, they decided to elope in Big Sur where Chase asked Athena to marry him. and at the same hotel they found on “ hotels tonight” during their proposal road trip last year. I love how well they blended meaningful moments and places with new a new adventure and experience. They invited to their parents and Chases’s best friend to officiate. We started the day at Hotel Carmel, which has the most rad collection of cassette tapes, and bathroom tile. The morning started sunny and warm but as Big Sur does quickly changed to cold, misty fog ( my fav). Chase and Athena had their first look right around the corner from their hotel quickly followed by a drive down the coast to meet their family cliff side for a beautiful ceremony.
